Myles and Ophélie's kizomba journey started between 2017 and 2018 in Sheffield where they would attend kizomba classes and socials. They cultivated their passion for the dance through workshops, parties and festivals where their love for kizomba only grew stronger. Since then, they graduated from Mambos D'Afro Dance School run by Leny and Ophélie holds a teaching certificate from Revolution Studios. They continue to improve their dancing and teaching knowledge with the help of Jaleh and Antonio.

In 2024, they won the UK kizomba open competition and since then they have taught classes in Sheffield and at parties in the UK. Their goal is to transmit their knowledge and passion to students for them to start their own journey and enjoy the kizomba essence. Their Caribbean and African origins make them explore other styles such as zouk, konpa and salsa which enriches their teaching styles and their understanding of the dance.
